Chris Uhres-Todd is our main content creator. She is a mom to three beautiful children; Daisy, Rose and Freddy and a teacher in the Pembina Trails School Division. She began her teaching career in England and travelled to Rwanda and Togo to teach before moving to Canada. After completing a M.Ed. in Manitoba she taught newcomer students at NEEDS and recently moved back into the school system to enjoy teaching middle years. Chris has been part of the Quality Classrooms team for over 10 years and also coordinates social media, posting for QCC on our various social platforms.
Cheryl Tremblay is an experienced ECE II who runs her own licensed home daycare. She enjoys spending her days providing an individual and flexible program which includes planned activities, spontaneous adventures, and independent free play. Mandy Hallow is a k-8 music and art teacher in the Interlake School Division. She is in her second year of teaching, and feels really lucky to have been able to continue teaching music in her school. Mandy’s music program is expanding quickly, and she is really looking forward to adding even more of a variety of instruments to her classroom and performance music this year.
Alison McLean works with children at Earl Grey Community Centre in Winnipeg. She is the founder of Ride & Play, a drop-in program for kids up to age 5 and their caregivers. and Alison’s Magical Craft Cupboard focusing on arts and crafts as well as sensory play. Three years ago she started Crafts To Go, selling craft kits for kids that can be purchased for a variety of purposes and occasions. She accidentally started doing arts and crafts with the After School Program one day and had so much fun she keeps going back.
